Mark-usage rules
1. The marks
'PQUAL', the ATP badge, the Approved Trainer badge and the PQUAL seal are trademarks. Use is licensed — never sold — and conditional on maintained approval status.
2. Permitted use
Approved entities may show their badge on websites, proposals, advertising and certificates for the scope approved, always with the standard disclosure line. The embeddable badge live-checks status and must not be replaced with a static copy.
3. Prohibited use
No implying government accreditation, statutory licensing or academic degrees. No use of the marks by unapproved entities, on unapproved courses, or after suspension/revocation. Violations are enforced under trademark law and the ATP agreement.
4. Ethical marketing
Marketing claims about PQUAL status must match the registry exactly. 'PQUAL approved' applies to the specific approved courses — never to an institute's entire catalogue by implication.
